About Us

 

 

We are a Michigan Certified Centennial Farm located on the west side of Traverse City. Our farm consists of nearly 600 acres of pasture, corn and hay fields. Our black Angus beef & Holstein beef are all born and raised here offering a choice to our customers. Calving time is an exciting time of year in the pasture, when our new calves are born starting in May. Our cattle are fed hay, some corn silage, corn {conventional corn}, pasture grass. In the winter they have the option to go indoors.

We raise our own pigs allowing us to have many specialty products made using no MSG or preservatives, like brats, bologna's, sausages. We offer all cuts of meat, individually packaged, vacuum sealed and frozen. Sometimes you can order fresh cuts of meat for special occasions. 1/4's & 1/2"s available.

All meat is USDA inspected, licensed, insured.The beef is raised the old fashioned way, meaning no growth hormones, no steroids and especially no feed antibiotics. In raising these cattle this way, we feel comfortable and at ease that we are providing you with the best, most healthy beef.Gallagher's meats are vacuum sealed and frozen at the optimal time to lock in freshness of the product for up to 12 months.

All Gallagher's meat  contains no added nitrites or nitrates.
